One typed config file
Texts, photos, stats, logo, music and timing all live in a single TypeScript config. Change the file, the whole reel updates. No digging through components.
Two themes, easy custom themes
Dark electric and warm light ship in the box. Your own theme is one object: define the colors once and every scene follows.
Fonts handled for you
Archivo Black for the big moments and Space Grotesk for the detail, loaded through @remotion/google-fonts. No manual font files, no flash of fallback type in your render.
Placeholder asset generator
Included script that generates placeholder photos and a placeholder logo, so you can preview and render the full reel before your real assets are ready.
TypeScript strict, Remotion 4
The whole template is TypeScript in strict mode on Remotion 4. The config is fully typed, so a typo in your stats or timing fails at build time, not in the render.
One command render
One render command produces the final 1080x1920 mp4 at 30 fps. Preview in the Remotion Studio first, render when it looks right.

Do I need Remotion experience?
Not for the standard reel. Filling the typed config file and running the preview and render commands is enough, and the placeholder asset generator gives you a working reel before you touch anything. To change the scenes themselves you need Remotion and React knowledge, and the template is a good codebase to learn from.
Can I add more scenes?
Yes, it is source code, not a locked tool. The four scenes are regular Remotion components, so you can duplicate a photo beat or write your own scene and slot it into the timeline. That part does require Remotion knowledge.
Can I make reels for clients?
Yes, with one project per license. Use the template for your own events or one client project, with full rights to charge for your work. A second client project needs a second license.
Which Node version do I need?
Node 18 or newer. That is what Remotion 4 requires and what the template is tested against.
Is music included?
No. The template ships with a silent placeholder track so the timeline works out of the box, and you point the config at your own music file. Licensing music for social media is something you control, not something we can bundle.
